About me

The restless, perpetually sleep-deprived, not-so-sacred feminine.

Menopausing, so unpredictable. Loves old desi songs, flowers, desert sunsets, shadows, mountains and the colour green. Among other things.

Writer, language teacher,  and avid people-watcher.  An abiding lust for words. Happiest while looking out of a moving window. A true believer in Alice in Wonderland, among other things books.

And yes, I talk a lot.

More?

My text has appeared twice in Seagull Books’ Annual Catalogue. ‘Once There Were Shadows‘ in the 2016-17 catalogue, and ‘Mistress of Memories’ in the 2017-18 one. And I’m incredibly proud of the fact.

I found this review while searching for an earlier short story ‘Footsteps in the Dark‘ published as part of Urban Shots ‘Crossroads’ by Grey Oaks: http://writersmelon.com/2012/05/22/book-review-urban-shots-crossroads/

I used to write a column in Malayalam for B’live, but haven’t been regular with it for the longest. My bad, entirely.
